Differences between O&O DiskRecovery and O&O
UnErase
O&O DiskRecovery
and O&O UnErase are two separate software products that are
designed to compliment each other. While O&O UnErase enables you
to restore deleted files and folders simply and quickly, O&O
DiskRecovery goes one step further. O&O DiskRecovery can recover
your data even on formatted hard drives or memory cards. On a
system-wide level, this program scans for your data and
reconstructs them.
In this respect, it is an useful idea to use both products to
have the ultimate data protection possible. Sometimes O&O
DiskRecovery can pick up where O&O UnErase leaves off and find
more deleted data. Important to understand is that both products
are not harmful to your system. As products designed to simply
read one data volume and write to another, there is no danger
that any of your basic system settings will be affected.
