| 3. Which data
carrying media can O&O UnErase V2.0 recover files from? |
| O&O UnErase V2.0 can restore deleted data from your

| 4. Can I use O&O UnErase
V2.0 over a network, or must it be done from the computer where the
deleted files are? |
| You can perform an emergency installation by means of a
network drive, but files cannot be restored from a network drive, even
if it is mapped as though it were a logical drive on the current
machine. However, it is possible to save the recovered data to another
machine via a network, if your access privileges allow this. This is a
good idea as it doesn't require write access to your machine - useful if
you have more data to recover! Please note that the license for O&O
UnErase V2.0 is bound to a particular machine. If you want to install it
on a further machine, please purchase a further license. |

| Answers to Technical questions |
| 1. What are the chances
of recovering my document? |
| This depends on a number of different factors: the
amount of write access to the disk that has occurred, the size of your
file, how long ago you deleted it, and so on. The particular part of the
disk Windows writes to when you start up a program or save a file is
fairly random, so even if you deleted the file some time ago there could
be a chance of recovery. The most important thing to remember is to
avoid write access as soon as you realize you've deleted a file by
accident. If you act immediately the chances of recovering your file are
excellent. O&O UnErase V2.0 also allows for partial recovery of files -
even if it can't get you all 100 pages of your report, 90 or even 10
pages could be invaluable! |

| 2. I didn't install
O&O UnErase V2.0, and now I need to recover a file! Is it too late? |
| Don't panic! You can run O&O UnErase V2.0 from CD-rom
to avoid having to install it and therefore running the risk of
overwriting your file. There is also a wizard that allows you to create
an emergency installation on a floppy disk, on which the UnErase files
fit comfortably at just over 1 MB. It is also possible to use a
directory on the network for the emergency installation - please note
however that the license for O&O UnErase V2.0 is bound to one computer
only. Please purchase additional licenses if you want to use it on
another machine. Another solution, which is of particular interest to
administrators, is O&O BlueCon
XXL, into which we have integrated UnErase functionality. O&O
BlueCon XXL can be used for data recovery even before the operating
system starts up, thereby avoiding write acess to your disk. It can also
be run from CD-Rom and the license is bound to a person rather than a
machine and may be used on every computer in your company.

| 3. Can I get back files
I've SafeErased with O&O UnErase V2.0? |
| No, you can't! O&O
SafeErase is an extremely effective program for deleting and
overwriting your data. O&O UnErase V2.0 can't get back files that have
been deliberately overwritten 35 times with scientifically recognized
methods, just those that have been deleted in everyday Windows usage.

| 4.When asked if I wanted
to save, I clicked "No" instead of "Yes"! Can O&O UnErase V2.0 help? |
| Probably - when using programs such as Word, Windows
will automatically create temporary files until you save the document
properly. If you act quickly it might still be possible to get back all
that hard work! |

| 5. Why do I have to save
the restored data somewhere else? |
| We recommend you save your data to another partition in
order to avoid accidental overwriting. It is theoretically possible that
a restored file can overwrite itself, making the file unreadable. |

| 6. I've probably got
hundreds of deleted files on my computer, but I want to find and restore
one quickly. Is this possible? |
| Of course - to work more effectively and quickly with
O&O UnErase V2.0, just use our FileFilter. Simply specify a file
extension or other criteria. Only the files which fit your description
will be shown. |
